This book also discusses our autopilot, scratch on the record, neurological glitches that cause us to repeat sinful or self-sabotaging actions. She believes these negative recurrent patterns are our "wrinkles." Recent events suggest we are the generation that will usher in the return of Jesus. Many preachers talk about an end-time revival that will draw millions of people into the kingdom of God. However, in our zeal to be part of a move of God, we have forgotten that we, the church, need to go through a sanctification process. We need to get rid of our "spots and wrinkles" before Jesus comes back. Out of all the generations throughout history, God chose us to be alive at this time. He has specific assignments for each of us. God needs us to cleanse the junk out of our hearts so we can operate in greater power and discernment.
