About the Author
ERIC TRUEHEART has been writing in the zone called Kidspace for nearly 20 years, despite his best intentions., and he's made animated creatures talk for every major -- and minor -- kids' network in town. He started on Nickelodeon's original cult hit, Invader ZIM, wrote for Disney XD's BAFTA-nominated Yin Yang Yo, helped Dreamworks develop the feature film Turbo into the first animated series for Netflix -- garnering it a Daytime Emmy nomination in the process. He also spent time in sketch comedy, but took a shower afterwards. Along the way he sold pilots to Cartoon Network, Disney, SyFy, and even Spike. (Remember them?) Eric grew up in fabulous Rochester, NY -- for no reason he's ever been able to figure out -- and has lived in the greater Los Angeles area for so long he can't remember what real life looks like.Rikki Simons is a voice actor, writer, and artist. He is most famous for being the voice of the robot in a dog suit, GIR from INVADER ZIM. As writer he is known for science fiction and fantasy novels such as HITHERTO A LION, RANKLECHICK AND HIS THREE LEGGED CAT, SUPER INFORMATION HIJINKS: REALITY CHECK!, THE SAD CIRCUS BY THE SEA, and the six volume SHUTTERBOX fantasy series, which he co-created with his wife, Tavisha-Wolfgarth-Simons. He is also a background painter in animation, most noted for his color design on Invader ZIM.Comic artist, writer, and character designer AARON ALEXOVICH (who is me)'s first professional art job was building hideous children for Nickelodeon's INVADER ZIM. Since then he's been building hideous children for various animation and comic projects, including Avatar: The Last Airbender, Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, Disney's Haunted Mansion, DC's Fables, KIMMIE66, Confessions of a Blabbermouth, STITCHED, the Lovecraftian horror/comedy ELDRITCH! (with art by Drew Rausch), IT'S NOT SCARY! and three volumes of SERENITY ROSE.
