Kim graduated from The University of Akron with a Master of Science degree in "Integrating the Arts in the Elementary School Curriculum" in 1987. She has been a member of the Chicago Chapter of the Recording Academy and a voting member since 1992. Kim is a proud mom of Austin, Morgan, and Bailey who enjoys working out, writing children's books, and cooking. She loves to spend time with her husband, Scott, and enjoys hanging out with their two dogs.

Karen graduated from Purdue University with an Industrial Engineering degree in 1985. She was selected and honored as a recipient of the SMART 50 Business Owners 2017 award for Innovation.
