Northridge is a town no different from other small towns in the early 1930s. Every single family feels the effects of the Stock Market crash in 1929 and in the ensuing years following the crash. Join the close-knit families of Northridge as fear mounts in their town due to serious criminal activity in their midst. Where is God when life seems to spiral out of control? How are the residents of this small town to count it all joy, as their Bibles instruct them, when trials and troubles come fast and furious? Rejoice with Pastor Jamison, despite his personal, heartbreaking loss and grow in faith with these dear folks in this small town, despite their many hardships, as they declare Victory In Northridge. D. Earl Gregg, a medical transcriptionist for many years, accidentally discovered the joy of writing when she wrote a biographical book for her father's side of the family several years ago, entitled The Bear Hill Dozen, Plus Two. This is her third book in the Wheelers series and her fifth book overall having written and published a biographical fiction about her great grandparents, To Mary With Love. She lives with her husband in western North Carolina and enjoys playing the piano and keyboard, as well as reading and knitting. She is also known for her realistic colored pencil portraits of not only people, but pets and various animals as well. However, the real joy of her life is her grown children and grandchildren.
