Three short stories for kids guide young readers to play with good sportsmanship. This is a helpful character education resource, starring children from the MVP Kids - includes Think and Talk About It sections for parents & educators.

Winning shouldn't get in the way of being a good sport. Lucas, Miriam, and Frankie learn to show respect to everyone, encourage others, learn from their mistakes, and have fun while playing games with family and friends.

-Lucas is playing team building games with his boy scout troop. His group leader Mr. Forrest teaches him how to be a good leader and build up his teammates instead of focusing on winning.

-During Fall Break Miriam's family comes to visit. Her aunt teaches her a new game that helps Miriam learn to never give up or quit and that determination can help her accomplish her dreams.

-Frankie is playing in a little league baseball game. When a teammate shows poor sportsmanship, Frankie stands up for what is right.

This book features a range of children, and diversity is shown in positive ways with characters that span various cultures, ethnicities, family situations, physical challenges and more.
