Jug? b?isbol hasta la universidad y, aunque estudi? periodismo para televisi?n, siempre trabaj? en la industria de restaurantes. Primero para la cadena IHOP donde, sin sus padres y como muchos inmigrantes empezando una nueva vida, le toc? empezar lavando platos y luego pas? a ser cocinero. Varios a?os despu?s, ya dominando mejor el idioma, tuvo una oportunidad de trabajo en Gordon Food Service, empresa distribuidora de suministros y alimentos, como especialista y consultor.
