About the Author
Shakina D Robinson is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Prevention Specialist, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, were she practices psychotherapy, as an outpatient counselor to clients of all ages. Shakina has been working in the field of Psychology since 2003, in various Outpatient Mental Health Clinics across Wisconsin. Earning her Bachelor's Degree in 2003, in the field of Human Services and then earning her Master Degree in 2004, in Community Psychology. Shakina has been well versed in dealing with many different emotions stemming from children to adults. Shakina has always had a dream of developing a series of self-help therapeutic children's books that target the emotional challenges/ struggles that children face when dealing with different life events. The purpose of this book is to restore and help develop self-awareness and increase child and parent interactions, while helping with the overall healing process from different stages.
