STOP - Help Is Here This book was written to be a resource for parents. It includes some helpful ideas. Everyone knows that the most difficult job in the world is parenting. Most folks don't apply for the job, the hours are long, the pay is bad, it does not come with days off or vacation and you can forget about retirement. Students are not going to disappear or go away, but they are here to stay. The book says parents help. Who are parents or better yet who wears or can wear the parent Hat? Every adult can, the minister or religious leaders, law enforcement, coach, teachers, etc. Because we can all wear the hat, we all can and should help. It takes a community to raise a successful student. Each and every one of us in our community must be responsible for the education of the student. No parent sends a student to school without wanting the best for that student. No teacher in any of our school systems is employed for not wanting to develop programs that are designed for student success. This book is a road map to help improve the success of our students. As I shared with you in the title, Parents Please Help, encouraging all parents and those who wear the parent hat, to stand up and be heard. Then help as much as you can to make a difference. If we all do a little, then together we can do a lot. Thank you Wendell Rodgers
