They want her to quit. They kill her father, beat up her mother, burn down the barn, try to drown her helpless brother, and try to grind her into the dust. Yet they can't stop Iris Greenlee. In the rough-and-tumble mountains of southern Oregon in the 1920s, the fatherless Greenlee family have their backs against the wall. On the eve of the Great Depression, Iris is determined to protect her family the only way she knows-by hunting men for money. Along the way, the Pacific Northwest's first woman bounty hunter will hand out her own particular style of justice. But there's a price to pay. Inspired by true events.

About the Author
