Stone also authored Preparing for Mediation: A Practical Guide for disputing parties, attorneys, and law students. The guide presents a protocol that enhances readers' ability to resolve conflict--the goal in all his writing. After working in commercial mediation, Stone refocused his peacemaking efforts, serving faith communities--dioceses, parishes, schools, and religious orders. He strengthened his conviction that enduring peace rests on a spiritual foundation.
