He is a two-star Michelin chef and the owner of Santa Monica's highly acclaimed Mélisse, Charcoal Venice, Openaire at The Line Hotel in Koreatown, and Dave's Doghouse at Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles. He has appeared as a guest judge on Hell's Kitchen and Top Chef Junior, in addition to being featured on PBS' The Mind of a Chef.
