She has taught a variety of courses including computer literacy, introductory programming in several languages, data structures, discrete mathematics, educational computing, modeling, and artificial intelligence, but she has concentrated on courses in database systems, which she has taught at both the undergraduate and graduate level for over 25 years. Besides writing textbooks on databases, she has written numerous articles and made presentations at many conferences in the field.Urban, Susan D.: - Susan D. Urban received the Ph.D. degree in computer science in 1987 from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currentlyan emeritus professor at Arizona State University. She has taught at the undergraduate and graduate level for over 28 years, with a focus on database design, data consistency, active rule processing, distributed databases, the use of databases in engineering design, and the development of innovative teaching concepts for database instruction. You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
