Russo, Antonio: - Antonio Russo, MD: the central theme of Dr. Russo's studies is translational research, meaning the application of molecular genetics in cancer management. He is Principal Investigator in several national and international clinical trials and author of more than 300 peer-reviewed publications listed on Medline-PubMed. Dr. Russo focused his studies on liquid biopsy and its application into the oncology field since 2003. In the following years, he carried out numerous projects and made several collaborations with authoritative colleagues specialized in this field which end in the publication of the first text entirely dedicated to the use of liquid biopsy in the oncology field entitled: Liquid Biopsy in Cancer Patients.Capoluongo, Ettore: - Ettore Capoluongo, PhD, is molecular geneticist whose job interests are mainly focused on cancer diagnostics and biomarkers identification. He is the Coordinator of two groups of the Italian Society of Clinical Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SiBioC) and he has been appointed as Member of the Committee on Clinical Molecular Biology Curriculum (C-CMBC) of the IFCC. He has published over 215 publications in peer-reviewed journals.Galvano, Antonio: - Antonio Galvano, PhD, is Professor of Surgery, Oncology and Stomatology at Università degli Studi di Palermo UNIPA.
