As the contents of this manual are based on the original Mercedes factory workshop manual, any special tools will be identified by the appropriate Mercedes part number. However, they may also be substituted by equivalent tools available from many of the reputable aftermarket tool suppliers.
We encourage you to exercise caution when purchasing technical publications for your classic 280 Series Mercedes as many of the reprints found on internet websites are from 'bedroom sellers' at enticingly low prices by individuals that really have no idea what they are selling.
