About the Author
Sami Hermez is a husband, father of two kids, and an anthropologist and associate professor at Northwestern University in Qatar. When he isn't teaching, he tries to do what he can for peace, equality, and justice in Palestine. He is motivated by the thought that failure is inevitable until we succeed. Hermez is the author of War Is Coming: Between Past and Future Violence in Lebanon (2017).
