Parasken runot

Paraskovia Mikitina on syntynyt 4/1 1833? Pietarin kuvernementin Lempaalan pitjn Miskunmen kylss, joka sijaitsee 5:n virstan pss Suomen (Raudun pitjn) rajasta. Hnen isns oli Kuussowan hovin orja eli elinomainen Iknattalan Mikiitta (k. noin 1849), ja hnen itins Mikkolan Tatjana (k. noin 1847) oli kotoisin Sakkulan pitjn Waskelan eli Arkuntanhuan kylst. Parasken vanhemmat olivat siis molemmat kreikanuskoisia karjalaisia (tahi inkerikkoja, ishoreja). V. 1854 meni Paraske naimisiin lampuoti Larilan Kaurilalle (Gauril Stepanowalle; k. 1888) hnen itins kotikyln, Waskelan, Larilan talosta, jonka talonnimest kyln keskuudessa laulajaa kutsutaan lyhyesti Larin (= Hilarionin) Paraskeksi. V:sta 1854 on Paraske asunut Sakkulassa ja v:sta 1891 Porvoossa. Runonsa on hn kuullut enimmksi osaksi nuoruutensa aikana "korvakuullolla ja pmuistilla olen kaikki oppinut mit osaan" sanoi hn. Pastori Neovius alkoi Sakkulassa ollessaan 1887 kert hnen runojansa, jota tyt edelleen jatketaan, ja on runojen luku kasvanut siin mrss, ett nykyn on kirjaan pantuna yhteens 1,152 runoa (eepillisi, lyyrillisi ja hrunoja sek loitsuja ja itkuja), 1,750 sananlaskua ja 336 arvoitusta, joiden seluku yhteens on 32,676, josta luvusta kuitenki on poisluettava toisinnukset. ......Buy Now (To Read More)
