Mais je lui jurai que je garderais toujours souvenance de son ancienne amiti pour moi. Et vraiment je ne l'oubliai pas lorsque je fus en position de la secourir, comme on pourra le voir en son lieu. Je m'en allai ensuite dans le Yorkshire. Mon pre et ma mre taient morts et toute ma famille teinte, hormis deux surs et deux enfants de l'un de mes frres. Comme depuis long-temps je passais pour mort, on ne m'avait rien rserv dans le partage.
