About the Author
I've been writing for at least five decades, winning awards at an early age. My works have been published in various magazines, and I was a staff-writer for the Baptist Publications Committee in Arkansas for several years. I began a newspaper column, "Streaks of Silver," for retirement-age readers in my hometown newspaper. I've also written three family biographies.
I taught a course called "Writing for Pleasure and Profit" at the local community college for several years. I would run up on a story, hear a phrase, or observe a special scenario, then scribble notes in my journal and find scriptures to fit, which brought me a pleasure more important than profit.
I'm a widow and have made my home with my daughter and son-in-law in Murfreesboro, TN. I have four adult grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. I lead a group of ladies that meets each Friday morning in my church, and all 22 of us enjoy studying the Bible.
I've worked several jobs right out of high school. After marriage to Bill, I became a receptionist in his print shop.
My reason for writing this book is because the things I wrote about so inspired and delighted me, I thought it would do the same for at least one reader.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
