Mattie Jackson is a bestselling author, podcaster, and speaker. She lost her husband, Ben Selecman, a few weeks before their one-year anniversary in September 2018 after he suffered a traumatic brain injury. Jackson has dedicated herself to helping others in their grief, working with her business partner, Brooke Tometich, in managing NaSHEville, a philanthropic organization that supports women and children in need--specifically orphans, widows, and trafficked women.
