Hi there Feel free to use the
Look Inside feature to check some sample pages (in low resolution due to copyright). I strongly suggest to check the art style this -and any of my books- have "before" purchase by visiting my
Amazon author page with videos and photos featuring some of the artworks. Be warned that you will not find common object drawings, or mandalas, or rudimentary geometric patterns, or any computer generated traced image with plain compositions or popular mainstream designs.
Instead, these books are thought for those who seek something other than basic and who have sensitivity for metaphor and the wonders of the subtle world. Intended for those colorists who are looking for the next challenge.
IN THIS 1ST BOOK OF THE TRILOGY YOU WILL FIND:
-
30 unique high-quality designs waiting for you to bring them to life with colors or shades, intended for you to evoke your own inspiration, to awake your emotions, and to help you connect with your own profoundness (should you dare to ).
- This 1st volume is predominately face oriented, with nature styled MASK designs both intricate and simple. Of the series this would be the easiest to comprehend and color.
- Single sided printing method.
If "different" is your cup of tea, then I promise you'll enjoy this book OTHER BOOKS OF THIS SERIES:
-
Vol.2 "Forces" The most Zen-like of the series, with a metaphorical take on cosmic forces.
-
Vol. 3 "Darklings" *NEW 2020 RELEASE* The most intricate of the series, has more detailed artworks, yet including a few less demanding pages in between. Includes Grey-Scaled art and traditional Black Lined art on white paper. Perfect for Halloween and Dark Fantasy fans for this is the spookiest of the series, all with an elegant take.
All the books in the series are "safe for work", and -again- if you want to peek at the kind of styles I work with, check the videos and photos of my Amazon Author Page, or the posts I share on Instagram as @userantonella.

About the AuthorHi!- I'm Antonella, an illustrator, self-published author & award-winning advertisement student, based in Argentina. Born in Argentina, I moved with my family when I was 10 to live in Peru, Spain, Brazil and returned to Argentina at age 24. And although throughout these years I'd been interested in various fields of study -hospitality, architecture, languages, creative writing and advertisement- art has been the strongest constant throughout my life: Traditional arts, clay modeling, metal sculptures and jewelry also inlaid with stone, creature design and original alien sculptures, special effects, wearable latex and sponge masks, fake teeth, textile airbrushing, digital art, ... but always going back to my roots of watercolor and ink illustrations. And I've enjoyed every step of the way. As for the decision to make this kind of book, I must confess that it responds to a deep need. For I can't help but feel like in today's world it is easy to lose the notion of who you truly are, and to get mixed up with who you think you are, or who you advertise to be. It would also seem that we are too busy passively watching other people's lives and accomplishments while actively trying to catch up with everything before it becomes "old news", among other expectations that make too many people anxious. And since I myself needed to take a step back from all of this, I wanted to put my two cents by leaning on my artistic side: So it was while creating these images when I gradually became aware that this wasn't a mere entertainment. For by letting my creativity wander free, I began to feel certain currents and flows, forces that push and rise, pull and connect, spiral inwards and outwards. It was those forces that I translated (as best as I could) in my drawings here, and my interpretations of them is what I wanted to share with you.
