About the Author
David B. Levy is the author of Your Career in Animation: How to Survive and Thrive, the essential career guide for animation artists working in North America. Levy is the director of animation at Disney+, where he leads a team producing and developing original short-form content for social media, including several series for Lucasfilm. Levy has directed and supervised series and pilots for Nickelodeon (Blue's Clues), Cartoon Network (Assy McGee), Sesame Workshop (Word on the Street), Fox Broadcasting Company (Bob's Burgers). Levy has also been engaged as a writer/creator on development projects for Disney Jr, DreamWorks, Warner Bros. Animation, and Silvergate Media/Sony Pictures Television. As an independent filmmaker, Levy is the director of the popular children's film Good Morning, and a pair of short animated documentaries Grandpa Looked Like William Powell and Turning a Corner which premiered at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival. Levy has lectured and taught at Parsons, SVA, NYU, RISD, and Pratt, and was president of the New York chapter of ASIFA (Association International du Film d' Animation). He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
