Do you need your child to "like" or "respect" you? Are you concerned your older child is "junior parenting"? Want to be your child's hero?

Licensed professional counselor Jim Wunderle has you covered with his new book, 101 Sound Bites for Parents. Each one is a "bite" of information, a small chunk of sound, solid, reliable advice. Topics range from how to stand firm when you make a decision-no matter how much your child disapproves-to the importance of monitoring your child's Facebook usage.

101 Sound Bites for Parents features advice for a variety of ages through a quick but carefully worded read offering value with every section-and often taking only about three or four sentences to do so.

Wunderle, who was inspired to write after the success of his weekly parenting tips e-mails, became a licensed professional counselor in 1996. He currently has a private practice in Arkansas. But his parenting knowledge doesn't come only from being a counselor. He's also the father of five children and has been married for thirty-seven years.

So when you've got a parenting struggle and don't know what to do, grab Wunderle's book for a bite of advice worth reading.
