Some of her biggest successes were her 10 films with Astaire in the 1930s. In 1940, Rogers won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Kitty Foyle (1940). In the 1940s she was one of the biggest box-office draws. (Note: The film, George Stevens: A Filmmaker's Journey (1984), which is included in the IMDb's top 25 best films listing for Rogers is not included in this book because the film is not a starring vehicle of Rogers's.) 30 pages, full color on white paper.
