About the Author
Kathleen York is a living history expert who has been researching, writing, illustrating, publishing and marketing books about historical clothing since 1980 (www.civilwarladies.com). A long-time Civil War re-enactor, her projects include The Civil War Ladies Sketchbooks (vols. 1,2 and 3). An instructional design consultant, she has worked with such organizations as Kaplan Higher Education, Sears, the University of Illinois and Walgreens.
