    Tortorella Genova, Toni: -

    Toni Tortorella Genova, DNP, APN-C, FNP-BC, NP-C, received her bachelor's degree from SUNY, Downstate College of Nursing, Brooklyn, New York, and her master's degree from the Hunter-Bellevue College of Nursing, New York, New York. Additionally, she received her DNP as a member of the inaugural class of William Paterson University, Wayne, New Jersey, and her post-master's certificate as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Tortorella Genova is a tenured faculty member at Bergen Community College, Paramus, New Jersey. She has 25 years of classroom and clinical teaching experience in medical-surgical nursing. Her role of educator is informed and influenced by her more than 35 years of experience as an oncology nurse in a variety of roles, including staff nurse, manager, clinical nurse specialist, and ambulatory oncology nurse, in multiple hospitals and private practices in the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area. She remains clinically active as a volunteer FNP for a clinic that provides healthcare to the uninsured.
