Perry, Carol Rosenblum: - An editor-writer by profession, Carol Rosenblum Perry became interested in energy healing, shamanism, tarot and other intuitive arts, wisdom traditions in other cultures, and co-creative processes in the 1980s and early 1990s. Her life took an unexpected turn when she unwittingly embarked upon a long healer's apprenticeship that included a classic initiatory illness. In the late 1990s she opened a hands-on healing practice, applying what she'd learned through illness, teachers in various forms, experience, and self-study. Then, after several years, she found herself drawn to a larger, more complex body, a new "client" -- the land -- and began offering her services as a land and environmental healer, or "whisperer," through a practice that continues to evolve.
