About the Author
Tracie Loux is a mother of 7 amazing children and "Noni" to one beautiful granddaughter! Four of her children entered her life though adoption and she works as an adoption advocate and educator. She has helped hundreds of families through the adoption process. Tracie earned her medical degree in the school of hard knocks! She and Mattie wrote this book together after discovering that families needed to know that life with a tracheostomy could be full of joy. Formally trained as an art educator, Tracie still enjoys creative projects like painting and home decor, but most of her creativity comes out through her writing these days. She blogs at From the Heart www.tracieloux.wordpress.com where she writes about love, loss and healing.
