She is an advocate and champion for the mission of Early Hearing Detection & Intervention programs and active supporter of local, state and national family support organizations. A native of Long Island and a graduate of Hollins College, Valerie has served on boards and state councils that are dedicated to serving families of children who are deaf or hard of hearing. She has proudly called Virginia 'home' for more than 30 years.Wojtysiak, Gina: - Gina Wojtysiak lives with her family near an urban oasis of parks and creeks along the James River in Richmond, Virginia. Her illustrations are largely influenced by her time spent in these natural surroundings.
