Thought-provoking and emotionally poignant, Prothesis: Losing Myself to Find Him stirs the heart, quiets the mind, and gently inspires the searching soul. Told through the lens of one woman's spiritual journey, McKenna Vietti gently guides readers through complex questions about purpose, vocation, and identity. Relying on biblical wisdom and reflective prose, Prothesis draws the reader to rest in God-despite holy laments and broken dreams-and intentionally live up to one's unique calling.

"By sharing her quest for meaning and a purposeful life, McKenna Vietti shows us that self-discovery is only possible as part of knowing God. Letting go of our own plans, dreams, and expectations and letting God direct our lives and shape our hearts is the key to becoming and living in harmony with our true selves. This book is a powerful reminder that being is before doing and, in the doing, we find the being. -Hadassah Treu, author of Draw Near: How Painful Experiences Become the Birthplace of Blessings, speaker, artist, award-winning blogger and writer at onthewaybg.com.
