Jaramillo, Susie: - Susie Jaramillo is a mom, an artist and a creative director raising two bilingual children. She worked for many years in advertising until she decided to return to her roots in illustration. She attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn where she majored in painting and illustration. As a Latina growing up in the United States, Susie was exposed to Mexican culture at a very early age and always identified with it. When she grew older she traveled to Mexico extensively and also studied Mexican culture here in the United states.
