New Edition, new updates!

Human Body Detectives Merrin and Pearl are at it again. Their magical ability to jump into people's bodies and explore their systems (immune, circulatory, skeletal, nervous systems) combines science with their fun adventures to help kids understand how their anatomy, physiology, and how to nourish it well.

In The Lucky Escape, Merrin and Pearl explore their little brother, Robbie's, digestive system because they have to get a penny he swallowed! Along the way, they slide down his esophagus, bump into gas bubbles, learn about how the stomach and intestines work, and so much more. In the end, they not only get the penny, but they also get a firsthand lesson on the functions of the digestive system.

The Lucky Escape is one of five stories featured in the Human Body Detectives series, along with, Battle with the Bugs, A Heart Pumping Adventure, Osteoblasts to the Rescue, and Brainiacs

The Human Body Detectives series explores science with a twist-an accessible lesson about the human body presented in a fun, relatable way that kids will love. Each Human Body Detective book can stand alone or be read as part of the series.

A curriculum for teachers and homeschooling families is also available for each book on the Human Body Detectives website.
