About the Author
Michaud, Sarah: - Dr. Sarah Michaud PsyD is a clinical psychologist with a private practice in Central Massachusetts. For over thirty years her main field of practice has been helping families and individuals recover from drug and alcohol addiction as well as from the many unhealthy co-dependencies that occur. She completed her doctorate program at the California School of Professional Psychology (San Diego), then moved back to Boston to work at a well-known psychiatric hospital, where she helped to open a residential program for dually diagnosed clients. Sarah's unique position as an authority in the field is also due to growing up in an alcoholic household, becoming addicted to alcohol and cocaine, and marrying two addicts in recovery. Her own struggle into recovery from addiction and relationship insanity is an inspirationfor all readers. As Michaud says, "I lost myself and found myself many times-hopefully to be solid enough now to not get lost again or at least find my way back more quickly." Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
