As a result, DeRetta was recently recognized at the Sports Inclusion Conference by winning the top National Diversity & Leadership Top 100 HR Professionals Award (2023) and Georgia Titan 100 (2024). DeRetta has been recognized three years in a row as a 100 Women of Influence by Atlanta Business Chronicle and received the Oncon Icon Award Top 100 Human Resources Professionals two consecutive years.DeRetta is an active volunteer in the community and brings a broad set of capabilities and skills to several not-for-profit boards.
