About the Author
Sofía Guadarrama Collado es una escritora mexicana. En enero de 2016 hizo pública su transición de género. Anteriormente Antonio Guadarrama Collado (Guadalajara, 1976), emigró ilegalmente a Estados Unidos en 1989 para reunirse con su madre. Entonces, aspiraba a ser trotamundos, compositor, cineasta, fotógrafo y escritor. Mientras eso se cumplía, se desempeñó como llantero, lavaplatos, taquero y carpintero. Fue deportado en 1998 y a partir de entonces se dedicó a escribir, a la docencia, la literatura y a la investigación de la historia de México. Ha publicado Cóatl: El misterio de la serpiente; Balam: La senda del jaguar; Cuauhtli: La revelación del águila; La nota roja y Sueños de frontera.
