It also examines in distinctive detail political movements like Conservatism, Fascism, Liberalism, Marxism, Anarchism, and many more, from as far away as Cardinal Richelieu's epoch through World War II and into the present.

The book's narrative has one overriding theme: the evolution of freedom.

Dr. Gary Gindler is an accomplished American columnist and distinguished political scientist, focusing primarily on anti-leftism and anti-communism.

Born in Ukraine to a military officer father and pediatric nurse mother, Dr. Gindler's upbringing required adherence to various military orders, leading the family to reside in multiple regions of the Soviet Union.
