About the Author

Pat Munts (Spokane, WA) is the small farm and acreage coordinator for WSU Spokane County Extension and the Spokane Conservation District, and advises small farm producers and landowners on how to manage their land, crops, animals and businesses. She also serves as a regional director for the Garden Writers Association. As a freelance garden writer, Pat has shared her gardening experiences and knowledge as a freelance columnist for the Pacific Northwest Inlander, The Spokesman-Review's "Voices" column, and as the eastern Washington editor of Master Gardener magazine. On the national level, Pat has written for GreenPrints and The American Gardener, and she is the author of Cool Springs Press' Northwest Gardener's Handbook (2014). Pat and her husband Steven still garden on their Spokane Valley property.

Susan Mulvihill is a long-time garden columnist with The Spokesman-Review, a Master Gardener, and author of the blog, Susan's in the Garden. Susan and her husband, Bill, live in Spokane, Washington, where they tend five acres. Susan is known for her down-to-earth approach to teaching and writing that appeals to beginning and experienced gardeners alike. Her humor and enthusiasm for gardening are evident in the hundreds of how-to-garden videos found on her YouTube Channel. In 2019, Susan was the recipient of the Media Award given by the Master Gardener Foundation of Washington State.

Susan is passionate about vegetable gardening and following organic practices. She is co-author of Northwest Gardener's Handbook and author of The Vegetable Garden Pest Handbook. In addition to being a prolific writer, Susan is also a garden photographer.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Shipping
