About the Author
Runner, H. Evan: - H. Evan Runner (1916-2002) graduated with honours from Wheaton College. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary. He subsequently received an invitation to become a junior fellow at Harvard University where he worked under Werner Jaeger. A Master's degree at Westminster followed his work at Harvard. He then earned the Ph.D. degree from the Free University of Amsterdam and taught philosophy at Calvin College until his retirement in 1981.
