The thread that runs through the poems in The Geography of Kitchens is one that connects us to family members who shaped our lives, particularly the women who taught us to pay attention to the details we often miss. Drawing on actual letters exchanged across three generations of women, the poems in this collection resonate with the joy, humor, loss, and lessons that arise from caring for each other.
