Be inspired by this vast range of experimental printing ideas.
Printmaking has been part of the artist's arsenal for centuries. Goya, Du] rer, M. C. Escher, Rembrandt, Toulouse-Lautrec, Van Gogh, Picasso, Lichtenstein, Edvard Munch, Andy Warhol and Pierre Bonnard - to name but a few - were advocates.
The scope of printmaking is vast. The Printing Ideas Book explores the different processes available to artists - such as screenprinting, etching, lithography, risography, collagraphy, linocut, cyanotypes, woodcut, aquatint, monoprints, digital printing, drypoint and engraving - from a new and exciting angle. To celebrate the art of printmaking, this book is filled to the brim with experimental, arresting and beautiful examples of printing from all over the world.
