Today, Dr. Calhoun remains an active member of her church community. Over the years, she has served in many capacities: In the women's ministry, children's ministry, Christian-education ministry, greeters ministry, leadership support ministry and on the ministry council. She is also the author of Let Us Always Give Thanks, and has more books to come.
