Baltasar Graci?n y Morales, pensador espa?ol, naci? en Belmonte, cerca de Calatayud, Zaragoza, el 8 de enero de 1601. Falleci? en Tarazona, Zaragoza, el 6 de diciembre de 1658. La obra de Graci?n suele dividirse en cuatro partes: en primer lugar, los tratados que podr?amos denominar de comportamiento o morales: El h?roe, El pol?tico, El discreto y Or?culo manual. Sigue luego Agudeza y arte de ingenio, ampliaci?n de un tratado anterior, Arte de ingenio. En tercer lugar viene su obra maestra, la novela aleg?rica-filos?fica El critic?n.
