About the Author
Dr Riitta-Liisa Valijärvi is a Senior Teaching Fellow in Finnish Language at University College London and a Senior Lecturer in Finnish at Uppsala University, Sweden. She has over 13 years of experience of teaching Finnish to adults at UCL, Uppsala University, Morley College and the University of Westminster. She has also taught and designed materials and exams for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and the EU. She won the UCL Provost's Teaching Award in 2014.
