About the Author
Los Angeles-based photographer Marjorie Salvaterra's work is full of drama, wit, and provocation. Her roles as a wife and mother inspired her ongoing interest in female community and the roles of women around the world. Marjorie got her start in photography while on a film set in Morocco, and her startlingly unique work soon caught the attention of museums and galleries around the world, including the Griffin Museum in Massachusetts; Musée de l'Elysée, in Lausanne, Switzerland; the Rencontres d Arles in Arles, France; Duncan Miller Projects Gallery and MOPLA Opening Night Solo Exhibit in Los Angeles. Her work was included in the George Eastman House Museum auction at Sotheby's, in New York, and she was a runner-up for the 2009 and 2010 Berenice Abbot Prize for Emerging Photographers. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Salvaterra attended New York University before moving to Los Angeles, where she currently lives with her husband and two children.Roxane Gay is a writer, professor, editor, and blogger. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in The New York Times Book Review, The Los Angeles Times, The Best American Mystery Stories 2014, and many others. She is also the author of Ayiti, An Untamed State, and Bad Feminist. Gay has widely lauded for her expoloration of sexual politics, feminism, body image, and humor. She currently teaches English at Purdue University and is a contributing op-ed writer at The New York Times.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
