Carlianne Tipseyis a professional illustrator for children's media. Currently employed as the Senior Illustrator for the children's brand KiwiCo, her daily work consists of drawing cute stuff every day for both children and parents (and herself) to enjoy. She first dreamed of becoming an artist while watching Disney movies and wrote Disney a letter to ask if there were any jobs for coloring in the characters. Although the answer was, "No," they gave great advice on how to learn to draw (true story!) She followed all of their advice, and after graduating from college with a degree in illustration, she landed her dream job working for Disney Interactive where she got to draw Disney princesses and characters all day! There she had the opportunity to animate, do character design, concept art, and even some story boarding. And although it was hard to leave, she eventually decided to pursue children's media where her desire to create cute stuff could really flourish. These days, she is inspired daily by her two adorable toddlers and loves illustrating books to read back to them at night. And when everyone is asleep, she gets back to work making tutorials to share on her popular Instagram site to help inspire other artists to create cute stuff. Because the only thing better than cute art, is LOTS of cute art.
