Clidy, John: - John Clidy comes from the heart of working-class America. From the time he was old enough to swing a hammer, he worked with his dad in the family roofing business, returning during the summertime and school breaks as he pursued his education. Hot roofing is a physically demanding job. Add in the fact that many of John's co-workers were convicted felons given a second chance after serving time, it's easy to see how life-experience molded the young man.
