Further essays and contributions richly illustrate and document more outstanding design projects. In addition, an illustrated 130-page inventory of his most important work and a concise biography round off the publication.

The book's release coincides with a major exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, as the largest-ever survey of one of the Netherlands' most distinguished designers.

Marcel Wanders is a figurehead of Dutch design who put three-dimensional design from the Netherlands on the international map in the 1990s. An innovative approach to materials and technology, as well as the blending of handcraft and industrial technology, characterizes Wanders's work, which also includes his successful label Moooi and his flamboyant designs for interiors and objects.
