About the Author

Joseph G. Healey is a Maryknoll missionary priest and writer based in Nairobi, Kenya.

He graduated from the Portsmouth Abbey School in Rhode Island in June 1956. After three years at Princeton University he entered Maryknoll College and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy in June 1961. He has completed graduate studies in theology and journalism at Maryknoll Seminary, the University of Missouri, and Creighton University.

Joseph was ordained at Maryknoll Seminary in Ossining, NY in June 1966 and went on to found the Regional Catholic Bishops Association (AMECEA) Social Communications Office in Nairobi. For many years he served in parish and missionary ministry in Tanzania.

He is deeply committed to the promotion of African culture and values; the growth of Small Christian Communities; the preservation and study of African proverbs and stories; and the success of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team.


Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Shipping
