About the Author

Claston A. Bernard was born in Jamaica and later immigrated to the United States. He is now an American citizen and careful observer of American politics.

Bernard received his degree in human-resource management from Louisiana State University. He is a 2002 Commonwealth Games decathlon champion, national collegiate champion, four-time Southeastern Conference champion for Louisiana State University, and two-time Olympian.
