Davey, PhD, MBA, MA is AssociateProfessor of Public Health and Director of the Undergraduate Public Health Programin the School of Public Health at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.She was previously an instructor in the Department of Family, Community, and Health Systems at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing. Dr. Davey teaches courses in leadership, management, strategy, health systems, health policy, and comparative health systems. She completed her PhD in Health Services Administration at the UAB School of Health Professions, MBA in business administration at Samford University, and MA in Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University.Johnson, James a.: - James A. Johnson, PhD, MPA, MScis a medical social scientist who specializes in international health and organization/systems development. He is a Full Professor in the School of Health Sciences at Central Michigan University where he teaches courses in comparative health systems, organizational behavior, and health systems thinking. Dr. Johnson is the former Chairman of the Department of Health Administration and Policy at the Medical University of South Carolina. Heis a veryactive researcher and health science writer with over 100 journal articles and19 books published. One book which is read worldwide, is titled, Comparative Health Systems: Global Perspectives where he and co-researchers analyzed the health systems of 20 different countries.
