The Sri Lankan Police discover dismembered parts of a male human body without its head and penis dumped in marshy waterways, dilapidated muddy canals and abandoned deep wells in the Western Province of Sri Lanka in early part of year 2015. With the help of the DNA tests, they find that all these dismembered limbs belong to one and the same person. Due to immense publicity given on the mass-media about this murder and of the suspected missing persons, a married woman with her young son come to the Police and nearly identifies this reconstructed human body although minus its head and claim that the body might be of her missing husband, 35 years old Neil De Lanerolle, a Senior Computer Engineer and Lecturer in Software Engineering. Tallying the dead man's DNA with that of his son proves that the corpse is that of Neil De Lanerolle. The Police find that Neil was a Casanova and a covert womanizer who approached young girl students who attended his private Software Engineering lessons given free of charge but latently with sexual favours. They also find that a 19 year old girl-student named Stella is his current victim who falls in love with him quite unaware that he was married and desires to marry him once she completes her SE degree. The Police believe that Stella is the last person seen with Neil on a fateful Saturday when Neil disappeared and subsequently found murdered and Stella is taken into Police custody as an alleged suspect of Neil's murder. However, the Police presume that Stella is incapable of committing the murder of Neil single-handed and suspect that there may be other accomplices in this crime. In her interrogation, Stella discounts all the allegations about her being with Neil but nevertheless breaks down and opts to provide comprehensive written confessions of her own which documents reveal almost unimaginable sexual involvements and adventures as well as sublime love attachments she had with several male characters. Carefully read this aesthetically and poignantly written novel describing a true murder-suspense-romance up to the last letter and innately feel the love, amorous and erotic manifestations and connotations emerging in the young heart of an innocent girl who is dragged on to sexual debauchery and ultimately to the abyss of immorality, mayhem and murder.
